SUMMARY:QWinter Workshop 2023 by QMexico
DESCRIPTION:This workshop aims to share knowledge about Quantum Computing at the high school level\, introducing basic concepts that allow knowing more about quantum computing. \nAbout\nThis course will be on January 11 and 14\, and all those interested in learning more about quantum computing are welcome. The material and the live sessions will be in Spanish but we can help with questions in English since the team is bilingual. \nThe objective is to provide basic concepts on quantum computing to the next generation of scientists interested in new environments and technologies. We will show different tools\, frameworks\, topics\, and potential applications. We will focus on basic concepts. \n \nImportant dates: \n \nYou can apply to join in the workshop here: \nhttps://forms.gle/FiBB3wTCdKxZE3p4A

SUMMARY:IQDD 2026
DESCRIPTION:International Quantum Discovery Day 2026 is a youth-focused outreach event designed to introduce quantum science and technology to students at an early and formative stage. Held online and in a bilingual English-Spanish format\, the event will connect participants across the Americas with educators\, speakers\, and role models from the international quantum community. \nThe initiative aims to make quantum science more approachable\, inclusive\, and visible for students who may be encountering the field for the first time. Through engaging talks\, educational demonstrations\, and interactive discussion\, participants will gain an accessible introduction to key concepts such as qubits\, superposition\, quantum computing\, communication\, and cryptography\, while also learning why these areas matter for the future of science and society. \nThis event is being developed as an initial flagship activity within the International Quantum Youth Initiative (IQYI)\, a broader framework intended to cultivate early talent\, strengthen international connections\, and expand access to quantum education for young learners. As such\, International Quantum Discovery Day is envisioned not merely as a single event\, but as the first step in building a sustained regional pipeline that will later support larger programs such as the Latin American Quantum Youth Summit. \nThe program will primarily serve high school students\, university freshmen\, early undergraduates\, teachers\, and outreach communities throughout North\, Central\, and South America. To support broad participation and educational inclusion\, the event will be conducted bilingually and may incorporate educational material developed by the IBM\, DWave\, QMexico\, Qaldas\, QWorld community\, including resources such as QBronze\, QSilver\, or related learning modules\, depending on the preferences and contributions of participating speakers. \nMore information at: http://iqdd2026.qaldas.com/

SUMMARY:RAB 2026
DESCRIPTION:As part of this initiative\, a series of academic sessions with invited researchers will be organized to address key topics such as designing competitive research proposals\, strategies for scientific publishing\, building research networks\, and fostering innovation in research. To enrich the exchange and broaden perspectives\, we will invite international speakers with experience in research\, project evaluation\, and academic leadership. \nThe event will be conducted in a bilingual format (Spanish–English) to facilitate participation from specialists across different countries and to encourage broader academic dialogue. This approach also aligns with the mission of QMexico\, which seeks to promote science\, research\, and collaboration across the Americas\, strengthening connections among researchers and supporting the development of innovative scientific initiatives in the region. \n  \nMore information at: http://rab2026.qaldas.com/
