Indexation

We understand how important it is for many universities and institutions to have their faculty and PhD students publish papers indexed in central Science Citation Index (SCI) systems. In response to numerous requests from authors, we have chosen a publisher—Springer Nature—that is more proactive in the SCI indexing process than our previously announced partner. All accepted papers for CSCE 2025 will benefit from enhanced SCI indexing, ensuring greater visibility and impact for your work.

Publisher:  Springer Nature

Indexation: Scopus; DBLP, EI Engineering Index (Compendex, Inspec databases); Springer Link; Google Scholar; Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), part of Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science; ACM Digital Library; IO-Port; MathSciNet; Zentralblatt MATH, and others. Only about 5% of all journals and conference proceedings reach the same high level of scientific indexing as CSCE publications.

Call for Papers – Submission Guidelines

Since the books/conference proceedings will be published and indexed in SCIs after the conference, we
have some flexibility with the submission deadlines. In response to numerous requests, the paper
submission deadline has been extended as detailed below. Authors who have already submitted their
papers under the earlier deadline will receive their decision/status notification shortly, if they have not
already received it.

We operate on a revolving deadline: papers are reviewed through a Fast-Track Evaluation (FTE) system,
meaning that each submission is assigned to referees immediately upon receipt.

GUIDELINE FOR AUTHORS

  • This CSCE 2025 website has more details on how to submit your paper.
  • Minimum requirements are
    • Title of the paper.
    • Please provide the name, affiliation, postal address, and email address of each author (including the name of the Contact Author).
    • Abstract (between 100 and 120 words)
    • Select the submission type as “Regular Research Paper”, “Short Research Paper”, or “Extended Abstract/Poster Paper”.

Important dates and submission types

Important dates and submission types

Due to numerous requests, the paper submission deadline has been extended as shown below. Authors who have submitted their papers in response to earlier announcements will receive the decision/status report of their papers according to the original announced dates.
Authors who have already received a decision on their papers are to follow the instructions and the deadlines that appeared in the notification that they have already received.

Important dates:

  • Jun 20, 2025. Submission of papers. https://american-cse.org/drafts/
  • REVOLVING DATE: Notification of acceptance will be sent about one week AFTER the date of submission.
  • REVOLVING DATE: Registration: https://american-cse.org/csce2025/registration. Authors of accepted papers will find the registration deadline in their notification of acceptance.

Note that failing to register for a conference after having a paper accepted is regarded as a breach of author ethics. Submitting a paper to a conference signifies a commitment to the research community, and neglecting to register undermines this responsibility, potentially disrupting the integrity and collaborative spirit of the academic process.
  • Registration of Non-Authors and Non-Speaker Attendees: July 1, 2025. https://american-cse.org/csce2025/registration
  • July 21-24, 2025: The 2025 World Congress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Applied Computing (CSCE’25: USA); Including all affiliated federated/joint conferences
  • August 30, 2025. Final papers for publication. The conference proceedings will be published shortly after the event. The publisher, Springer Nature, will send each author a unique upload link corresponding to their accepted paper. We anticipate that these links will be emailed to authors by approximately August 30, 2025. Once the link is received, authors will have two weeks to upload the final version of their paper for publication. The conference organizers will also send timely reminders to authors to ensure all final submissions are completed within the designated timeframe.

Type of Submissions/Papers:

  • Full/Regular Research Papers (maximum of 8 pages): Regular Research Papers should provide original research contributions. They must report new research results that represent a contribution to the field; sufficient details and support for the results and conclusions should also be provided. The works presented in regular papers are expected to be at a stage of maturity that, with some additional work, can be published as journal papers.
  • Short Research Papers (maximum of 5 pages): Short Research Papers report on ongoing research projects. They should provide overall research methodologies with some results. The works presented in short papers are expected to be at a stage of maturity that, with some additional work, can be published as regular papers.
  • Extended Abstract/Poster Papers (maximum of 3 pages): Poster papers report on ongoing research projects that are still in their infancy (i.e., at very early stages). Such papers tend to provide research methodologies without yet concrete results.

Publisher Indexation: Springer Nature. Scopus.
DBLP, EI Engineering Index (Compendex, Inspec databases); Springer Link; Google Scholar; Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), part of Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science; ACM Digital Library; IO-Port; MathSciNet; Zentralblatt MATH, and others. Last year’s CSCE publications can be accessed via: https://link.springer.com/conference/csce-1

Each paper will be peer-reviewed by two experts in the field for originality, significance, clarity, impact, and soundness. In cases of contradictory recommendations, a member of the conference program committee would be charged to make the final decision (accept/reject); often, this would involve seeking help from additional referees. Papers whose authors include a member of the conference program committee will be evaluated using the double-blinded review process. (Essay/philosophical papers will not be refereed but may be considered for discussion/panels).
